Corner Cottage is located in Studland Bay, a natural shelter for yachts and small boats. There are extensive sandy beaches which provide safe swimming for children. Many walks available in this area are of outstanding natural beauty and owned by the National Trust.
 
Studland Heath has a warden controlled nature reserve. Studland is protected by the prevailing South westerly winds by Ballard Down.
 
Swanage is just two miles distant and Bournemouth for the brightlights and more lavish entertainment can be reached by a ferry across the entrance to Poole Harbour.
 
A challenging golf course with breathtaking views is close to hand. Tennis can be played on the Swanage Municipal courts and at the Manor House hotel. Windsurfing is available in Studland Bay, Swanage and Sandbanks.
 
Many places of interest are within easy reach. Brownsea Island, Compton Acres, Corfe Castle and Lulworth cove to mention a few.
